Description
Today we're building something that probably shouldn't exist.
Using parts from two damaged Hot Wheels Redline Beetles, the goal is to create one complete custom while preserving the original casting underneath. After cleaning up decades of oxidation, restoring the base, experimenting with decal products, and laying down a flawless gloss finish, this classic Volkswagen gets transformed into a muscle-car version of Herbie.
The best part? Everything can still be returned to a traditional Redline restoration someday.
A strange idea, but one of my favorite builds yet.
