Join me deep in the Florida Everglades for a 3-day truck camping and fishing adventure, targeting EXOTIC invasive fish in dangerous roadside canals. These non-native species, including oscars and Mayan cichlids, have taken over many Everglades waterways, and the action can be nonstop when the bite is on.
In this video, I’m fishing new roadside spots along the famous Loop Road, exploring remote areas, and seeing just how many invasive fish I can catch. Along the way, I’m living out of my truck, setting up camp, cooking meals, and putting together a full catch clean and cook experience in the Everglades.
The Everglades is full of wildlife, and it’s not uncommon to run into large alligators while fishing these canals, which adds another level of excitement (and danger) to the trip. From fast-paced fishing action to camp life and cooking fresh meals, this is a full Everglades adventure.
