In the last video, we removed the engine and transmission from my 1982 Datsun 280ZX to start preparing it for a completely custom chassis build.
To design the chassis, I needed accurate measurements of the Corvette C6 Z06 suspension, so in this video I 3D scan a burnt Z06 donor car using the Shining3D Einstar scanner. The goal is to bring the scan into CAD and design a custom chassis that will fit under the Datsun.
This is the first big step toward building a Datsun with Corvette Z06 suspension and an LS engine.
