5 years ago, internet "experts" slammed me for doing skid turns on an old logging road, claiming I was careless and tearing up nature.
Yesterday, I rode back out there.
As you can see, the higher powers moved in with heavy machinery and completely pulverized the mountain. Funny how a single rider gets labeled destructive over a tire track, while massive industrial overhauls get a pass. Our impact as a riding community is a drop in the bucket. We tread lightly, we use existing roads, and we respect the backcountry.
