Is this the end of cosmetics being sold in Washington State? After the Toxic-Free cosmetic Act, it just might be. This is an unprecedented law that has the beauty industry nervous. The Washington Toxic-Free cosmetic act seeks to ban several chemicals intentionally added to cosmetics, and also a restriction on the amount of lead. This is stricter than the already established lead level generally reconized as safe. I give my thoughts on this law in my video and how it will impact the cosmetic industry.
