While LILIAC was street performing on the Santa Monica Pier, the drummer from The Police unexpectedly asked if he could join them.
We naturally thought he would want to play the drums.
Instead, he asked Sam for his guitar because he wanted Aby to remain behind the kit. Smiling, he told us he admired her drumming.
Then he joined LILIAC on guitar for “Enter Sandman” and said he understood why young musicians loved playing that catchy riff.
