Inti Creates has told me that there are no embargos for this game so I had a quick look at the changes made to the first two iX games.
The most obvious change is that the DLC bosses are part of the collection which is nice but you have to go to the options menu from the game select screen to enable them (yes seriously) and there's two types of endless boss rush modes, freestyle and survival. The former has all the abilites and even anthem whereas the latter is hardcore where Copen's abilites are locked.
I haven't played too much of Dual pack version of iX2 but I did notice a new sprite on the HUD screen after reaching 500 Kudos. The saw icon with an up arrow. This indicates a power boost when Copen is using his main weapon.
I made a quick comparison of the solo 2022 release (English voice) and the dual 2026 release (Japanese voice) and when Copen gets the power boost, his homing shots are increased from 30 per hit to 50 and it can even go to 100 when using Limit Break too.
Close-range attack power increases by 2x each via the Honed Strike System, Limit Break, and Parallel Blaster Rifle. If all three are active, damage is multiplied by 8x.
