‘The Nest’ was commissioned by Snapchat, for exclusive viewing on mobile phones through their app. Our original vertically framed horror was watched over 250k times on the platform, and we’re excited to finally be able to release the film through our own official channels, in the form of this brand new and extended ‘Director’s Cut’ - a representation of the film originally made for Snapchat.
Created as part of the V/H/S franchise, ‘The Nest’ is the first release of ours to be shot in ‘found footage’ style, and in this new 4:3 formatted version we pay tribute to one of the most famous and influential ‘found footage’ films from the 90’s… Can you guess what it is?
‘The Nest’ stars Imogen Gurney, Mei Bignall, Samuel Woodhams and Malik Ibheis, and features creature fx by Bloody Cuts regular Cliff Wallace.
