The old Hayward Farm has been a local legend in Crowfield Acres for decades. The Hayward family is never seen, and most assume them to be dead based on this reclusive behavior and the decrepit nature of their estate, even though their meat always appears on the shelves of the local butcher shops. Far from dead are the fields on the property, or at least, that's what the locals say. Late at night, screams echo through the fields. Even stranger, the strawmen seem to have a life of their own, with stories of tall, thin figures moving ever so slightly among the corn. Still, legends are legends for a reason, as no one has ever been within the property to know what really goes on in that withered old place. At least, none who have been within have ever told their story. Maybe that will change, it really just depends on how quickly you can outrun a chainsaw.
