The is the first video in a series concerning the Israeli / Palestinian Conflict. In this video, we explore the question of "Israel's Right to Exist" as a sovereign nation - it's ancestral and historic claims to a Jewish homeland in Palestine, and the century's long struggle that Jews and Arabs have endured on the road to the creation of the modern nation of Israel in 1948.
We explore 3000 years of history up through the role of the Ottoman Empire and British rule at the turn of the 20th century with the promises made to both Arabs and Jews along with the decision that were made to partition the land.
We also look at the times that the Arabs were offered and refused an opportunity for sovereignty in Palestine prior to the 1948 Arab Israeli War.
