Howdy Folks! Many happy years ago, I stumbled upon the Unversed Cast podcast, which is a video game podcast produced by three (formerly four) friends and YouTubers. Since then, I have gone back and watched / listened to their reading of Sonic Highschool more times than I can count, and it remains one of my favorite pieces of media to return to when I need something to listen to while I chip away at a big project.
However, the last time I went to listen to this absolute gem of internet entertainment media, I discovered that it was GONE! MISSING! DELETED FROM THE INTERNET! Was it... never to be seen again!?
Well, fortunately, I was able to locate the audio version, which was thankfully still available on Apple Podcasts 😅 however, that did get me to thinking about how fragile the internet is, and how so much of the entertainment that we have come to look back on fondly might someday vanish, never to be seen again... Perhaps the internet is not forever, as so many of us have been lead to believe...
