Description
Bad plot logistics, ridiculous physicality in the assassination scenes, lack of humour, boringly long, dumb character motivations. The Godfather has enough of these elements that I've never found the film particularly enjoyable to watch nor intellectually credible. And yet, film critics in 1972 persuaded the world they were looking at a masterpiece. In this video I break down the many flaws of the film - it's about time somebody did it.
Peter Griffin in Family Guy was right. The film does insist upon itself.
