The Dome That Disappeared on Mars!
The famous dome-like structure on the Martian Surface from Opportunity Rover SOL 4073 has "spoken" again! This time it's disappeared, leaving a blank spot behind!
It is on the Opportunity 4073 image, and it's clear, but a newer image of the same area shows us something very different!
It's simply gone!
How is this possible if there is no life on Mars?
David Gannett found the dome in 2015. I was with David when he presented it for the first time at the Mars Conference in Alabama in 2016.
The big question is now, what was it (because structures and rocks would still be there), and how can it disappear?
Was it something that took off, or did NASA airbrush it out like the old days?
