Description
This video features excerpts from a genuine sworn deposition recorded in the early 1990s as part of a federal civil lawsuit. The testimony was given under oath before a court reporter and questioning attorneys and forms part of the official court record. The witness, Paul Bonacci, testified about events he claimed to have experienced and individuals he identified during the proceeding. In 1999, Bonacci obtained a $1 million default judgment in a federal civil lawsuit against former Omaha Republican community leader Lawrence E. King Jr. The judgment, however, was never collected.
