Welcome to my Onimusha: Way of the Sword Let's Play Playthrough for the Nintendo Switch 2!
In this episode, we step into the dark fantasy, Edo-period Kyoto overrun by malevolent demon-like creatures known as the Genma. We follow the story of the legendary samurai Miyamoto Musashi, who wields the mystical Oni Gauntlet to absorb souls, seal wounds, and purify sanctuaries.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword features a strategic, defense-first tactical combat system that heavily rewards precise timing, parrying, and executing simultaneous EEN attacks. We are testing out how the game runs on the next-gen Nintendo Switch 2 hardware, looking at the upgraded graphics, character models, and performance!
