Yarn: 5 Balls (405 Yards) of Lion Brand Yarns Hometown USA "Oakland Black"
Hook: Size "N" 9 MM
PS= Yarn Over, Insert Hook into Stitch, Pull Through (3x). You should have 7 loops on your hook. Yarn over and pull through all 7 loops.
Chain 15
Row 1: Complete 1 [PS, Chain 2, PS] in 3rd chain from hook. *Skip 2 chains and work 1 [PS, Chain 2, PS] in the following chain. Repeat from * until end of round.
Rows 2-45: Chain 1, complete 1 [PS, Chain 2, PS] in the first chain 2 space. Continue to crochet 1 [PS, Chain 2, PS] in every chain 2 space across until you reach the end of the round.
When you reach the end of Round 45, Chain 1, Pull through a loop, cut and fasten.
There are numerous videos on YouTube detailing how to add tassels. I pulled an extra long loop up at the end because this would blend perfectly into the tassels added later.
