Description
The Academy of Country Music is heartbroken by the passing of legendary country music artist John Anderson. A member of both the Country Music Hall of Fame and Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, Anderson was honored with the ACM Career Achievement Award in 1994. 🤍
“John Anderson had one of the most distinctive voices country music has ever known. The Academy was proud to recognize his remarkable legacy with our Career Achievement Award. Our hearts are with his family, friends, and the countless fans who have cherished his music for nearly five decades. His voice, songs, and impact on country music will live on forever.” — Andy Schuon, CEO of the Academy of Country Music
