The Thai Food Tour of Seattle continues! At the time we filmed this video, Gao Lhao had just opened its doors two months before in Seattle's Green Lake. This restaurant is born from the soul of Yaowarat. Yaowarat is home to Bangkok's vibrant Thai-Chinese food scene and is one of the biggest, if not THE biggest, Chinatowns in Southeast Asia.
I usually feature multiple restaurants in a food tour, but when I started studying Gao Lhao’s menu and photos, I just knew we had to go deep on this one. And oh boy, was it a tasty time! From appetizers to mains to desserts, we had many favorites. We highly recommend starting off with the Fish Sauce Chicken Wings! For the rest, you’ll have to watch the video 😋 Note: This video was filmed in October 2025 about 20 days before we found out I was pregnant! 🥹💕
