Description
Testing out some 175 grain bullets cast in an RCBS 28-168-FN bullet mould using various charge weights of Alliant 2400 powder. Bullet was cast of wheel weight metal, water dropped to increase hardness, with a Hornady gas check applied. Test rifle is a Baikal IZh-94 "Taiga", combo gun chambered for 7x57R and 12 Gauge. Note that the RCBS 28-168-FN bullet mould is a discontinued item. Loads were based on a similar bullet data from Lyman number 45 reloading data manual as I was unable to locate 7x57 data for this specific bullet. Brass used is PPU 7x57R, primers are CCI No 200.
