Bio
Greg Spradlin is a mathematics professor at Embry-Riddle University in Daytona Beach, FL who teaches vector calculus and differential equations. He has used computer algebra systems in the classroom for decades, but discovered GeoGebra only a few years ago. GeoGebra holds many advantages: it is free, interactive applets are easy to create, worksheets can be posted on www.geogebra.org where anyone online can use them, 3D anaglyph graphics are built-in, and Java applets – which can be embedded in any Website – are easy to create. Greg is enthusiastic about GeoGebra’s potential for helping college students visualize structures, understand concepts, and become excited about mathematics.
