Description
The Western blonde tarantula that lives next to my house came out of brumation a few weeks ago. I named her blondie, and yes it is indeed a she. The females can live 30 years, and they tend to make one burrow their home for life. I'm looking forward to many more years of tossing them bugs on occasion. I consider it a pet in a way and I love that it can stay in it's natural habitat rather than an enclosure.
