Super Black mini - preamp pedal by @MadProfessorAmplification . Classic 60's Fender Black panel amp tone in a box. All analog design. I was waiting for this little preamp pedal to arrive for 6 months and it sure was worth the wait!
Oh the punch and sparkle. Then the breakup tones. Gain it up and your get beautiful classic tubeamp overdrive. The warmth this preamp gives to clean tones is something I totally got carried away with.
I tried pairing Super Black mini with Mad Professor's Forest Green Compressor and Simble overdrive. They felt perfect for the video. But trust me, Super Black sounds great with Tubescreamer. Other overdrives I can't wait to try soon!
For a pedalboard setup with a IR loader this is a perfect little solution with big tone. But this is a great tone tool when working with real amps too.
