Street photography in Istanbul captured raw and real. Join me and Andreas Kamoutsis as we cross from Kadıköy to Galata and Tarlabaşı. This time I am shooting with my Fujifilm X-Pro1, sharing candid shots, misses and moments. I am Spyros Papaspyropoulos, co-founder of www.streethunters.net and a Street Photographer from Greece.

It has been 10 years since my last Street Hunt in Istanbul, so returning felt like a special experience. I wanted to relive the thrill of wandering through this vibrant city, so I crossed from the Asian side at Kadıköy to Karaköy, explored Galata and İstiklal, and wrapped up in the colourful streets of Tarlabaşı. The image and sound quality are not perfect, so I apologise in advance, but I am genuinely excited to share this adventure with you.
In this video, I walk the streets of Istanbul with my Fujifilm X-Pro1 and Sony ActionCam mounted on top. The ActionCam’s mic struggled in the wind, so sound is not the best, but I hope you still enjoy the flow of the walkabout and get a feel for Istanbul through my lens.
