Join the Empathy Day Festival (4-11 June) and be part of a nationwide movement to foster empathy through stories, creating a world in which we all understand each other better. By connecting with others through stories, we strengthen relationships, build community and improve our wellbeing.
In this session, Michael Rosen sparks empathy for readers aged 11+, discussing his book One Day: A True Story of Survival in the Holocaust, and reflecting on Refugee Week’s theme of ‘courage’, to build empathy for people forced to flee their homes in search of safety. Michael also shares interactive activity ideas to do while and after watching.
