Description
Sonic’s Space Adventures Against Hitler is a CGI Fan Animation that extensively uses clips from a Live-Action movie… I think it’s time for me to go all-in on the “Live-Action” part.
I basically took a bunch of screenshots from the miniseries (specifically the Special Edition), as well as a few other related Blender renders I made for this purpose, told Nano Banana 2 to recreate them in the Live-Action movie style, and ran them all through the Kling 3.0 Standard model, all with my prompts being as generic as possible while still conveying what I want. Those two respective models consistently gave me the best results, and trying the others were failures (See me use trial and error here: https://youtu.be/ff2nkPS7DTA). Two of the clips used were based on scenes from @JamesM2022's novelization of the miniseries. This video cost me $70 in EaseMate credits to make.
As for the music, I basically told Suno to make a track similar to the soundtrack I would have envisioned for SSAAH in the first place: The soundtrack to Michael Bay’s The Island (2005) by Steve Jablonsky. Suno called the track “Event Horizon Rising”. I trimmed it for time, and sped it up slightly to fit alongside the clips I generated.
