Description
Sonic 3 A.I.R: 3D in 2D Edition is a collection of mods that try and resemble elements from the Fan Game, Sonic 3D in 2D, originally created by Sotaknuck.

With the main feature being 3D in 2D Characters, this mod brings in the animations and sprites from Sonic 3D in 2D into Sonic 3 air.
"All of the characters now have an high speed animation and a float animation when transformed.
Tails curls in a 8 frames tail-less ball and Super Sonic's sprites from the game replace the Sonic 3K ones."
"Additionally, in the case of Sonic, he is now able to use his secondary action skills (Insta shield, fireball, double jump or bounce) whenever transformed and in possession of the appropriate shield when needed."
"Due to the way effects are shared between the shields and stars, he will still be unable to use them when invincible."
Features:
• Top speed animation with all of the characters (made to kick in at the same speed tails's top speed original animation began) and float animation for their transformed forms.
• New sprites for Sonic's super forms and ability to use the insta shield and shield powers when transformed (in Hyper form they can be triggered by pressing no direction)
• Sonic now gets bored when transformed
• Sonic's "deformed" standing sprite in Get Blue Spheres in the standard game is now fixed
• Slightly modified the feet of the standing sprites for Tails.
• More animation frames for Tails whenever he flights.
• New victory animation for Tails.
• New sprites when Tails stands or hangs on rotating platforms.
• Curled ball animation for Tails to match the other characters.
• Options to disable the curled ball animation, have his fur-ball with no tail, and use the normal animation with the tails trailing behind, just like in Sonic 3D in 2D.
• Option to Switch Knuckles to his Cutscene Palette from the original Sonic 3 & Knuckles, just like in Sonic 3D in 2D.
