In this video, I am out in the woods for an overnight bushcraft camp using minimal gear. Supplementing my kit by using what I can find and make in the woods, I create a comfortable camp for the night and settle down to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature whilst enjoying some good simple food and of course a couple of cheeky beers.
It is all too easy to just take all the comfortable gear with you into the woods, and usually, that is exactly what I do. Sometimes, however, it is good to see what you can do with just a few basic tools and bits of equipment - filling in the gaps with knowledge and experimentation. Nature often provides and knowledge is much lighter to carry that a huge bag full of camping gear.
