Hey everyone. I want to take a moment to address something important regarding this video. You may notice that some of the clips look a bit off—maybe the colours seem strange or the visuals feel washed out or greyed out. That’s entirely on me, and I want to explain what happened and take full responsibility.
Recently, I upgraded to a new monitor that came with HDR (High Dynamic Range) enabled by default. What I didn’t realize at the time is that ShadowPlay doesn’t handle HDR footage well if it’s not being viewed on an HDR-supported display or properly converted. As a result, all the clips I recorded came out completely greyed out. To salvage the footage, I had to manually correct the colours to get them looking somewhat normal—but I know it’s not perfect, and the final result might not be what you’ve come to expect from my content.
I truly regret this oversight, especially because you—the viewer—are the one who has to pay for my mistake. Your time and attention mean a lot to me, and I’m sorry if the experience of this video is affected because of something I could’ve prevented.
Going forward, I’ve disabled HDR recording in ShadowPlay and will double-check all my settings before hitting record. I’ve learned from this, and I’ll be more vigilant to make sure the content I bring you meets the standard you deserve.
