SING WITH SUZI - a joyful show for little kids
On today's show we'll feature nationally touring children's performer and award-winning recording artist, Laura Doherty who'll share an original song written with her tap-dancing friend Reggio "The Hoofer!" Originally from Westchester County, NY, Laura came to Chicago after college and soon joined the teaching staff of the legendary Old Town School of Folk Music. Often joined by her band of Chicago talent on stage, The Heartbeats, Doherty has performed hundreds of shows at premier venues and festivals across the country, including Chicago’s Old Town School of Folk Music, Ravinia, Lollapalooza, Nashville's Pilgrimage Fest, Austin's SXSW, Philly’s World Cafe Live, Boston’s Club Passim and many more!
On Sing with Suzi we celebrate diversity from all backgrounds and abilities. Let's come together in support of one another. Everyone is welcome here. Over three years strong! Mondays on Facebook & YouTube at 4pm (ET)/3pm (CT)/1pm (PT).
