This animated short was created in Blender, based on my own original sketches, and features simple geometric shapes styled as wooden toy blocks. Through animation, these basic forms come together to build a small house, a tree, and a toy car, turning abstract shapes into a playful construction process.
The project explores animation principles, timing, and composition while blending a clean digital aesthetic with the warmth and tactility of natural wood. The movement is soft and thoughtful, evoking the feeling of a calm, imaginative children’s game where ordinary blocks transform into meaningful objects.
Inspired by Montessori learning principles, the animation highlights creativity, curiosity, and learning through simple forms and interaction. This work reflects my interest in expressive motion design that combines minimal visuals, natural materials, and a sense of quiet, playful discovery.
