"Welcome to the Shuv Show. I’m your host, Christene Jackman.
Tonight’s topic explores an insight into the familiar account of Messiah Yeshua multiplying the 5 loaves and 2 fish for the 5000+ crowd. Scripture gives insight into Scripture.
Let’s begin by reading the historical record in Luke 9:10-17.
“When the apostles returned, they gave an account to Him (Messiah Yeshua) of all that they had done. Taking them with Him, He withdrew by Himself to a city called Bethsaida.
But the crowds were aware of this and followed Him; and welcoming them, He began speaking to them about the Kingdom of God and curing those who had need of healing.
Now the day was ending, and the twelve came and said to Him, ‘Send the crowd away, that they may go into the surrounding villages and countryside and find lodging and get something to eat; for here we are in a desolate place.’
But He said to them, ‘You give them something to eat!’
And they said, ‘We have no more than five loaves and two fish, unless perhaps we go and buy food for all these people.’ (For there were about five thousand men.)
And He said to His disciples, ‘Have them sit down in groups of about fifty each.’
They did so and had them all sit down.
Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed them, and broke them, and kept giving them to the disciples to set before the people.
And they all ate and were satisfied; and the broken pieces which they had left over were picked up, twelve baskets full.”
Matthew 14, Mark 6 and John 6 also record this miracle, adding details like the Lord testing Phillip, as well as having the crowd sit in groups of 100 and 50s. John 6 reveals that the loaves were barley loaves and that Passover was near. The barley loaves indicate the upcoming Feast of First Fruits. Remember Messiah Yeshua’s resurrection is all about the חַג הַקָּצִיר בִּכּוּרֵי Chag HaChatzir Bikkurai (Feast of the First Fruits) which happens during Pesach/Passover Week, the Barley Harvest. There are many references to this feast in Scripture. Search it out.
Side note: Matthew 15 shares an additional time where Yeshua fed 4000 with 7 loaves and a few fish.
After reading these events recorded in the Apostolic Writings, immediately the prophet Elisha came to my mind . . . "

Some songs are in English and deal with everyday life issues, but most of her focus has been presenting psalms and other Scripture set to music by Jackman and sung in biblical Hebrew. Some in English and biblical Hebrew. As a study tool for learning and memorizing Biblical Hebrew, Christene Jackman decided to include to her songwriting repertoire setting Scripture to music, mainly the Psalms and Prophets, and singing it in the original language: Biblical Hebrew. Jackman also hosts the talk show, "The Shuv Show," her other channel on YouTube, https://www.youtube.com/c/ShuvShow, where Chris discusses insights and observations from the Bible regarding living out the Written Torah, as the Lifestyle of the Redeemed Community which is based on forever Covenant(s) found in the Bible. As the writers of the Bible: Genesis through Revelation, were all Hebrew, and Near Eastern Hebrew thinkers, inspired by the Ruach HaKodesh, the Spirit of Holiness/Holy Spirit, studying Scripture from the mindset of God's Culture sheds exciting new light on the Ancient Path.
