today was winter's very first cross-country race, and when i tell y'all she did NOT want to participate! 😭

i thought she'd be learning how to run and pace herself, but these kids were running half a mile, tackling hills, and giving it EVERYTHING. 😂

i just wanted her to try something new… but i wasn't prepared for what she said to me afterward. 🤍
