For the latest instalment in her 803 Crystal Groove label's 'Collective Cuts' series, Cinthie has reached out to notable re-edit and remix duo Saved My Life, a collaboration between Siggatunez and Constantin Sankathi. They've delivered a pair of revisions - credited as edits, but they're much more than that - tailor-made for sweat-soaked peak-time plays. They first have their wicked way with 'Down', a late 90s alt-rock heartbreak song which they've reimagined as a lightly trance-tinged big room house workout smothered in bittersweet piano motifs and featuring new vocals courtesy of Senpolya. They then tackle the Smith Boys' 'Beauty & Thug', a strings-and-horns-laden heady house affair reportedly inspired by a favourite r&b bootleg of the early 2000s.
