Description
See footage from the new musical The Heart, which runs Off-Broadway at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre October 8-December 6. An official opening night is set for October 29.
With a book and additional lyrics by Kait Kerrigan (The Great Gatsby), and music and lyrics by Anne and Ian Eisendrath (KPOP Demon Hunters), as well as choreography by Taylor Swift's Eras Tour choreographer Mandy Moore, The Heart centers on a young surfer whose life is cut short while a stranger suddenly has a second chance. The life-force of one beating heart drives two families and a medical team through 24 hours that couldn’t matter more.
