Sāhitya Bhāva Bodhani is an initiative that seeks to bring listeners closer to the heart of bhakti compositions across languages. Through simple and accessible explanations, it aims to reveal not only the meaning of the lyrics, but also the emotion, context, and devotion embedded within them.

The series will feature compositions in six languages — Sanskrit, Hindi, Tamizh, Telugu, Kannada, and Marathi — spanning the works of over twenty revered composers from the 6th to the 20th century CE.

Each composition will be introduced with an explanation in simple Indian-accented English, followed by a rendition by eminent musicians. Through this blend of meaning and music, Sāhitya Bhāva Bodhani hopes to help every listener experience the unadulterated love and devotion that lies at the core of these timeless compositions.
