Russia continues advancing across the Sumy front as Russian forces take control of additional territory along the Ukraine border.
In this report I embed with a Russian Veteran Brigade artillery unit operating from Russia's Kursk Region in support of infantry advancing into Ukraine's Sumy Region. We document the complete artillery process—from receiving coordinates to firing a 152mm Giatsint howitzer while supporting frontline assault operations.
This report also shows the realities of frontline combat, the coordination between artillery and drone operators, the dangers of counter-battery fire, and why every mission is conducted under camouflage.
Unlike studio analysis, this report brings you directly to the front where events unfold in real time.
