Runaan is implied to have a significant other. The Dragon Prince's crew have been liking and commenting on social media posts about the amulet-making elf from the credits. They want to include LGBT representation, so I don't see why Runaan can't be a part of that! Aside from the romantic implications the amulets have, the elf also made them to protect. He knew the dangers Runaan's job as an assassin had with it, so he wanted a way to protect him without actually being there. Which is why the amulet let Runaan turn invisible when the humans came around. The elf also knows when Runaan gets hurt. The gem on his left horn fell off... the same horn Runaan lost! Not to mention the lily that sunk into the water in the same episode that Runaan got trapped in a coin. The elf was crying over it while watching it sink because it alerted him of what happened to Runaan.

Stan The Dragon Prince!!! I honestly can't pick a favourite character from it because the writing with all of them is amazing... Bait is pretty cute though. Rayla is also awesome.
