Rishiri Escape: the conditions in the Pyrenees turned... difficult, we seized a small weather window to travel to Rishiri Island in Japan an island I have dreamed of visiting this isolated 1,800-meter volcano rising out of the ocean for over a decade, so seized the opportunity.
Known for heavy winds and snow, I thought it was going to be the perfect testing ground for kiting — and to see if we could reach the summit via kite. It turned into a harder mission than I anticipated, but we learnt a lot along the way!
