Description
A wicked, small town Louisiana R&B shaker, a potent mover, steeped in searing skillful Harmonica outpouring, a level of drive, dripping with tight Black community, authentic Jump-Blues attitude. Currently slotting neatly into A-list R&B DJ Christopher Stukenbrock superior play lists. So when this popped out from box in the warehouse, its obscure local label screaming, "pick me"; then a little research brought up Christopher's play list, always a list of imaginative, well chosen rarities, i couldn't wait to drop the stylus on it. It instantly blew me away, I love a well blown "Harp" with the compulsory gravel-coated nicotine and whiskey worn throat. The combination spilling out naturally spontaneous R&B dancer, no frills just raw energy and playful passion. Insanely rare and exceptionally clean, an unmissable slab of R&B, totally essential obscurity. as you'd expect the flipside "Born For Bad Luck" is excellent bonafide heartrending neighborhood Blues, that transports you to the local Friday night bar and fish-fry.

A dream copy! Two unblemished labels, only ultra soft signs of storage (see images) . "Rite" sound vinyl carries a full gloss revealing only the merest fine hairlines, under an intensive inspection. Plays mint minus (listen).
