Quentin Tarantino called it one of his favorite Ozploitation movies. This 1982 horror film from a land down under feels like The Shining, Suspiria and Don’t Look Now combined. It’s slow, moody and has some really terrifying moments. The film stars Jacki Kerin and John Jarratt (from the Wolf Creek films), but the real stars of the film are director Tony Williams, composer Klaus Schulze (Tangerine Dream) and especially cinematographer Gary Hansen.
