Description:
"Regular Mario Bro. takes place in between Mario Bros. and Super Mario Brothers. After dealing with a turtle infestation in Brooklyn, Mario learns of Donkey
Kong Jr.'s whereabouts. He hasn't yet forgotten his humiliating defeat after trying to capture his father and seeks revenge. Mario charts a flight and
manages to track down DK Jr. to an offshore island deep within it's jungle. But Junior's prepared. Knowing Mario was coming, he teamed up with his ex-boss
"Foreman Spike" to set up a series of platforming challenges across the island. And what's worse, they've captured Pauline and plan to use her as bait to
lure Mario into their traps.
Will Mario survive all 5 "Rounds" and the inevitable final confrontation with Donkey Kong Junior?"
And here we have this interesting SMB1 hack that does things... a bit different. It doesn't mean that it's bad, because this hack is actually pretty good, with the right amount of difficulty that will keep you engaged.
Each "round" (as the game describes them), consists of 2 stages each, so 10 stages in total. But each one has a different degree of difficulty.
This is a blind run, so of course deaths are to be expected. But I'm not mad about that, and it's because there are infinite lives here! So that is a big plus for this hack.
