Description
This guitar lesson teaches the introduction to Red House, by Jimi Hendrix. It explains blues lead guitar techniques like string bends, vibrato, and hammer-pulls. It is performed with a great guitar sound. Something very cool about this composition is, it integrates both the Pentatonic minor and Major scales, a common technique used in blues guitar playing and an important part of Jim Hendrix’s playing style. Metal Method instructor Doug Marks performs each guitar lick at tempo then plays the part slowly followed by a detailed description of each guitar technique.
There is a free download package that includes play-along animated tab played very slowly (70% of tempo). There is also printable tab and Guitar Pro 8 files to play along with the composition at any tempo. Play the composition slowly then gradually increase speed.
