In this video fishing journal we look at the elements that bass look for to support their spring binge feeding.
When a primary hotspot fails to produce, how should we anglers adjust? Slug it out, or bug out? The real question is, how do the fish respond? How committed to certain feeding locations might they be when conditions fall apart? Do they wait out the poor conditions? Or do they abandon the location and search out better opportunities?
Spoiler alert: In this one we get an opportunity to see how these big bass adjusted to such a scenario. When my primary hotspot failed to develop a heat gradient, those big bass simply…took the next train! The next heat gradient, showing us just how important heat gradients are to bass, esp in the early season. And what other elements are important in determining where they end up next.
