Here are some recent realistic pencil drawings my previous students have shared with me. Many of my student's have been winning awards and getting great press lately.
If your a previous student and would like me to feature your some of your realistic drawings on my social media platforms, send me some photos of before and after you started using my drawing techniques and concepts. Also include any awards, press, or commissions your drawings have received.
All these drawings share a few things in common. They make use of a wide range of values giving them the contrast needed to make them look realistic. Plus they all contain a variety of realistic looking textures. These are two of the most important aspects of realistic drawing and exactly what I teach in my live drawing workshops and online tutorials.
