My first animation of 2016 was a recreation of the jumpscares in FNAF 2. It was started in September 2015, only to be massively delayed due to frequent crashing and general lack of faith in the project. During this time, newer animatronic models came out, and were much better suited to this type of animation, but sadly it was too late to swap them in. Having moved on from animating years ago, I decided to embark on a nostalgic thrill ride and rewatch my old animations. In each video, I will display my reactions to an animation before discussing the details, inspirations and thought processes that factored into its creation. Hopefully this series is as enjoyable as it is insightful!
