We granted 5-year-old Tom's wish to be a police officer for a day, with the help of the team at Thames Valley Police.
Even when he was in hospital for his cancer treatment, 5-year-old Thomas would tell him mum he wanted to be a police officer when he was younger. For his wish, we organised for him to become a police officer for the day at his local station!
He was inducted as an honorary police officer, which included touring the station and meeting the staff, seeing (and hearing!) the police cars and bikes, and testing out the different gear.
