Here is Ray Stevens performing the song "Sweet Dreams" live on Pop! Goes The Country in 1978.
This classic country ballad was originally written by Don Gibson in 1955 and became a standard. Over the years it has been recorded by many artists including Patsy Cline, Faron Young, Emmylou Harris, Reba McEntire, Tammy Wynette, Chet Atkins, & Tommy McLain.
Although Ray performed it live here in 1978, he did not record a studio version until his 2021 "Great Country Ballads" album.
