Alhumdulillah, through your donations we were able to support our brothers and sisters in The Gambia this Ramadan.
This was also one of the most recent distributions by Brother Kebba, who was one of the quiet pillars behind As-Suffa’s work in West Africa. A trustee of As-Suffa, West Africa, and the lead of our projects in West Africa, he dedicated himself wholeheartedly to the service of Islam and the Muslim community. After spending 14 years in the UK, he returned to his homeland to serve his people sincerely for the sake of Allah.
Tragically Br Kebba and his four beloved children drowned on Sunday 22nd March 2026 in The Gambia.
We pray that Allah grants Br Kebba and his children the highest ranks of Jannatul Firdaws, accepts them among the righteous, and grants their family and loved ones beautiful patience and strength.
