Quiet Revolutions is a powerful short dance film following community dance artist Phoebe as she navigates financial uncertainty, creative doubt and the everyday realities of building connection through dance.
Shot in a vérité style, the film captures the grit, resilience and quiet impact of artists working behind the scenes in communities across the UK. As Phoebe nurtures creativity in others, she discovers renewed purpose through the relationships she helps create.
Created to celebrate 10 years of New Adventures' Overture programme, Quiet Revolutions shines a light on the transformative work that often goes unseen. Since its launch, Overture has supported 157 dance artists working in schools and communities nationwide, providing mentoring, training and professional development to help them continue creating, leading and inspiring.
