Qatar's Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani has passed away at the age of 74, the Amiri Diwan announced on 12 July 2026.
The ILQ Team extends its deepest condolences to His Highness the Amir, the Al Thani family, the people of Qatar, and all those mourning the passing of His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
May his legacy continue to inspire generations, and may his family and the people of Qatar find strength and comfort during this difficult time.
